Thank you for raising this topic.

I’ve often thought about buying a copy of “Wrinkles”, but I’ve  wondered about the changes over the many editions.  I would like to get one of the earlier editions by the original author, but as late as possible with only a few changes......follow that I hope.  Any recommendation on a good range of years?

    Thanks in advance.

Subject: [NavList] Wrinkles in Practical navigation maps

Awhile back I purchased on Amazon the Elibron Classics reprint of "Wrinkles in Practical Navigation" by Squire T.S. Lecky.  It claims to be an unabridged reprint of the 1881 Edition.

There were two foldout maps in that edition that were larger than the book.

I contacted Elibron based on their note in the book regarding those maps, and they posted them on their website in the last day or so.  I have them downloaded as PDF's.  Website is Elibron.com

The book was on the entry page today after the maps were posted, but it is under "transportation" in the menu, and not "navigation"  Links for the Maps are with the book.

I figured if you had a reprint of the book, but not the maps, they can now be found, and if you wanted it, they are now together.  I had trouble finding an original early edition when I looked, so i got the reprint.

Other than the fact I wish it was a larger print volume, I find it a charming and informatively written text, by someone who still actually seesm adept at the use of the english language to explain.
