That's off by ~30 NM, so something's not right somewhere - make sure
you're using the same AP for both calculations, otherwise I'll have to look
at this in more detail when I have more time than I do right now.

As a side note, I *have* reduced sights by calculator in the past and the
results were very close to HO 249 (their Z values are whole numbers, so you
may see a difference there when you do it more "accurately" without rounding
    on a calculator).

What value do you have in cell A4? That formula was copied/pasted from my
own Excel worksheet - as always, your mileage may vary depending on how you
    have yours setup... :-)

Depending on what you have in cell A4, that looks like a valid sine value to
    me.

Sine values (at least the ones that I'm familiar with) run from 0.0000 to
1.0000 - I think what you're looking for here is an arcsine (what you were
calling "Shift Sin-1" earlier) - for that you would use the ASIN function.

Using the calculator my Hc is 58 deg 20.4 min. Using a demo version of
navigator light it give me an Hc of 58 deg 51.0 min. The Az Calc is 210.
The 210 agrees with HO 249 and Navagatoir Light. My issue is when I did the
calculation for Zn I wound up with 148 deg 11.4 min.

When I pluged =SIN(A4*PI()/180) into my spread sheet it returned
    0.014855204

I was looking for a number like 58.33935111

On one of my spread sheet I break up Deg, minutes and seconds on another I
use the H:mm:ss formating however it will not do the trig as you know.
