Frank, you asked
Where do they store the sextant?
Likely ashore, in the antiquities section of the boathouse (read: junk pile). The mega-yacht people are just like the yacht people. They keep multiple GPS receivers, some hand held, as has been demonstrated earlier. They communicate with Sea Tow in the event of a damaged bridge, using VHF radio, some hand held. Sea Tow literally tows them back to home port (if feasible) or to the nearest port with service facilities.
The VHF radio crackles in Sag Harbor, where many of the super-rich keep their mega-yachts. They are a very demanding, very pampered bunch. Money is not the object or problem. We have to keep a sharp look out so we don't get run over by them. Most worrisome is when the rich boy grabs the helm to show off. They have no concept.
CN in this regime? Only by the hired help if they have a genuine interest. Professional sailors, professional crew, and wait staff on these yachts. They are too busy with real tasks to worry about our quaint hobby.
