I agree, but the time leading up to Christmas has been a busy time for all with or without Covid included.  Things will quieten down shortly, so perhaps some have done the same as me and have printed it off and are saving it as the antidote to Christmas Week TV.  I am, along with completing the 3-D jigsaw puzzle of the Titanic with full led lighting, which my son bought me for my recent birthday. 

Whenever you mention your grandfather, I can't help remembering a similar style ship painting on my maternal grandma’s wall.  This one might also have had an early funnel. After returning from gold mining in Rhodesia, my grandfather had been Foreman Boiler Fitter at either Richardson’s & Westgarth’s or The Central Marine Engine Works in Hartlepool.  He must have acquired the painting sometime in his travels.  I’ve no idea what happened to it after my grandma died.  You also reminded me of the painting on the front of the book they used to give you if you were ever invited to visit Imray’s in Huntingdon.  It’s “Difficult Waters” (oil on canvas) (no cracks about pouring on please) by Christian Krogh (1852-1925).  It’s in the Goteborgs Konstmuseum, so Lars might be familiar with it too.  DaveP
