#there is always the use of 1/57.296. that is if you make something with a radius #of 57.296 units 1 unit on the periphery=1degree. and from there you can #calculate sin/cos/tan/cot/sec/csc using unit circle.

I will continue below, had to abandon the previous posting as i was on break at work.
units can be anything it is the number in combination with a radius that does the magic it can be inches, cubits, mm, verktum (old swedish unit) or what have you
if you look up "unit circle" on the web you can quickly see that it should be possible to get reasonable results if you do the dividing with care.

In theory error of above should be roughly 1/1000 that is fairly good result with nothing to start with,
Depending on what and how much training you have and what tools you have or can make you can get fairly good results, personally I have managed to be correct down to two decimal places when I have tried this procedure with paper, divider and pencil, Not perfect but...
