I, also, am interested in learning more about how this happened. The
captain and first mate were fired, but I've seen no further
explanation.
Yesterday Gipsy Moth IV arrived in Sydney. It has not done any
ocean-sailing since before the wreck. It has been transported as deck
cargo on container ships. Not exactly a dignified circum-navigation.
The best way to find news links on this topic that I have discovered is
to go to Google News and type in "Gipsy Moth" as the search term. Lots
of articles, but I haven't found anything about the details of the
incident.
