Sure. Of course. LOL. That makes lots of sense! You like having a
completely anonymous figure managing the list.
And:
"I don't know how these 2% were computed, but apparently some people
feel OK with this percentage of undelivered messages:-) "
Alex, you were not following the list when it crashed. I understand
that it is difficult for you to accept the fact that this happened.
> In the meantime, what are the BENEFITS of sticking with Navigation-L?
"Good and simple web interface
(no advertising, no graphics, very fast, even with slow connection)
Easy to find recent messages
(Sorting on your screen by several parameters,
by author, by time, and by topic)."
Alex, ONE MORE TIME: the archive on i-DEADLINK-com is NOT part of
Navigation-L!! It has no connection at all wih the list. It is simply a
private archive maintained by one individual for his own purposes. And
there is an ADVERTISEMENT on that site each and every time you visit
it. That's why it exists, Alex.
Meanwhile, have you even bothered to look at the new archive I put
together, largely to answer your concerns?? Go here: www.fer3.com/arc.
As I stated previously, the search function does not work yet. The sort
functions DO now work. And the subject sort on this archive works
correctly, unlike the subject search on i-DEADLINK-com.
And you wrote:
"Easy to change or modify the topic in any way you wish. "
Also easy on googlegroups. You flew off in a panic over this matter a
week or more back. The other members very quickly figured out how to
deal with it. You're just plain wrong that this is an issue.
"No password and no registration with Google for using the web
interface, "
Navigation-L DOES NOT have a web interface. The archive on i-DEADLINK-com has
NO connection with the list.
