Good Day Joe .
I am using AH reflector type and, until late Spring and Summer, I was having astoundingly accurate and consistent results which , shall we say , left me astounded and pretty euphoric. The obtained position lines compared with actual location as per Google Earth, were the first accurate measures I'd ever had, of procedure and technique.
Maybe of no practical use to you to mention that I have always kept abreast of my index error, by Solar Pair Obs's. , taking 5 sets of 3 pairs about 5 minutes tween sets, with the sun above 30 degrees altitude...then I just average them all out and though individual pairs may be at variance ,the resulting index error, within a very slim whisker, is always the same.
