Very true! But in the year 2075, the difference may conceivably be as large as 16 seconds or about four nautical miles in tropical latitudes. That's still not much given the limitations of celestial navigation, but it begins to be a concern. My answer to this? In the year 2075, hold a séance and ask my ghost how I feel about it.
