I will have to try that experiment on my next trip. I will find a couple of stars at the same azimuth and take some LOP's from each in short order. I'll pass along my results to the list.
As to when I was in Mystic, it was 2013. It is closing in on 10 years ago now.
I'll address HoE on a ship in a new post.
