Gordon was right that aa-54g is an older version of aa-55. I have written
some scripts (bash and awk, for unix friends) that make heavy use of aa to
select suitable bodies and compute lunar distances, and then call LaTeX to
produce the table. If people are interested then maybe I can put them on a
web site. I hasitate to share the code because I am not a professional
programmer, the code is badly documented (if at all) and not very stable
(sensitive to the version of the awk program, for example).
