You're right, I didn't draw the line at 60 degrees but went over two squares and up one to obtain he 2:1 proportion. Off course it doesn't matter exactly what angle you draw the lines at since they will control the length of the lines you draw of all three sides so the proportions will be the same for each which is all that is necessary for finding the symmedian point.
