A linear interpolation over such a short period of time (1 hour) is not the problem. I suppose that you draw curved celestial lines of position for every site you take! The statement "exactly 0648" was based on Nautical Almanac values and it was "exactly 0648" based on those values. I'd be willing to bet that it wasn't "exactly" 0649 either. The tone of your response tells me that you are too hung up on yourself to answer a genuine question, so I won't ask again. The next time I send an email to an omnipotent being I'll try to be more humble.
