Butterfly Bris Prototype

The Butterfly Bris is a double simplified fixed angle whole horizon mini
sextant that provides two bright primary sun images and two dim secondary sun
images. A pair of Butterflies can fit in a 35mm film case just as the
original Bris can. I have selected a double waterproof 35mm film case which
holds the pair of Butterflies in one side and a folded 8"x11" photocopy of
the Pub.249 sun perpetual almanac and sight reduction formulas in the other
side.
