Index Card for Trig/Log Table

An index card is handy when performing sight reduction with a trig/log table.
I set my card up with pre computed entries that are good for a few hours of
Sun celestial. The highlighted portions of the attached index card photos
show what can be pre calculated before an observation is performed. The
remaining computations can be performed at a leisurely pace in less than four
minutes. The result is accurate to four places even when the the SIN product
is calculated by slide rule. I like the trig/log tables because they are
compact enough to fit into my sextant case along with a K&E 4070-3 slide rule
