I tried to reach you at engineer@net.nz but that failed.
I found and bought a Mk 9A and have a couple of questions.
I found and bought a Mk 9A and have a couple of questions.
The cord that plugged into the case's receptacle (when the case was fitted to the prepared spot in the Lanc the mounts made contact with the aircrafts 24V system) has several breaks in the outside cloth wire cover. The insulation seems to be almost non-existant and I'm positive it would short out. There is a hole in the insert to permit the removal of a screw & washer to handle 'other voltages'?? There is also a battery of Dutch manufacture but it is flat and there are no notations of voltage. I have spare bulbs but there are no indications of voltage etc. I'm sure you will have already solved the problem of providing light for night use?
The only other problem I see is making the bubble smaller.
I hope this finds you - - I'm starting to run out of time!!!
