This morning was a first attempt at capturing a green flash sunrise. What I got was a magenta sky instead.
[NavList] Green Flash Snobs

Here is a very good and accurate description by Capt. Patrick Moloney of life aboard a U.S. Navy fleet oiler. I was fortunate enough to have the same set of experiences aboard sister ships in the Indian ocean and western Pacific. Capt. Moloney captured some fine images of the mythical green flash. So many green flashes were observed by himself and the crew that they became green flash snobs. Now I have a new goal in life and that is to become a green flash snob ;-)
