Nerd alert - these images are from "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine" episode "Explorers" and "Suddenly Human" from "The Next Generation."
There is another sextant image at:

The caption in the second image therein is obviously wrong; the prop there is something like an azimuth circle or pelorus - it is gimbaled with a pendulous weight on the bottom.
Can anyone tell from the attached images whether these are real instruments (make and model, perhaps), or are they just lookalikes used as props?
