I can recommend Elgin Clock Repair in South Elgin IL (847/695-1758) for
chronometer repair. They are nationally known and teach the skills.
They are mid-age so will be around, and have high expertise in
Hamiltions and Elgins. And you will learn a great deal of the history
of clock/chronometer development.
