No, that wasn't the weird part.The message had arrived immediately
because I could read it on the Navlist thread but when I then looked
for it in the archive it wasn't there. Nor had it been emailded to me.

Oh, or are you saying that the archive gets the messages just like we
do, by email from Navlist? and that that was the delay in the email
system?
