Thanks to those answering so far. We’re looking at pages 4-18, then 4-24 to 29 of the Pilot Manual for sextant operation. I’m still looking for the celestial navigation technique. After I said I doubted the feasibility of using celestial to navigate a U2, I remembered Chichester managed it in a Gipsy Moth, but then I remembered he was wearing street clothes, not a full pressure suit.
