Hello!
Some time ago there was a thread about a story of a small plane loosing his orientation and how a crew of fly-by passenger jet helped him to the land. Emergency navigation methods were involved (i.e. measuring the Sun's altitude in palms/fingers, etc). Also there is a film on that story.
Can't find this thread in the archive, please help me to locate it and get more information on the actual event.
Thank you in advance.
Warm regards,
Tony
