The example that I have described as follows:
Main component, a disc, with 2 rotating faces, each divided into months, one side labeled N, other side labeled S.There is a clear plastic rotating element to which discs more on them in a moment, can be attached.
Regarding the above mentioned discs, 18 in all, 9 marked N Latitude, 9 marked S Latitude. Of these, 6 marked N Latitude. have a 4 5/8" dia rotating element rivited to the main disc. These bits labeled 35 degrees through 85 degrees in 10 degree increments. Ditto for disc labeled N Latitude. The other 6 discs, 3 labeled N Latitude, 3 labeled S Latutude, running 5 through 25 degrees in 10 degree increments are plain, they do not have the above mentioned circular rotating part.
I hope my description clarifies rather than confuses. Might my example be an earlier of later model? Any ideas? My device is indntified as follows, on the main disc.
Computer, Celestial
Type CPU 50A/P
MFR'S MODEL:FAA-114B
6605-00-967-6692.
TELEX COMMUNICATIONS INC. 1974. I assume 1974 is a copywrite date.
Thanks.
