    Hello Frank,

    For the loxodrome calculation, I used the meridianal parts method, the one used in the construction of mercator charts.

    I agree with in the case of short distances, like the one on the example, there is not difference between loxodromic and orthodromic calculations.

    My real experience in flying small airplanes, is that the difference between both navigations is minimal with distances below 300 nm.
