Re: The ultimate mechanical watch - for less

The next great challenge will be the marriage of the Tourbillion mechanism with the capability of syncing time with the US Naval Observatory as with Casio’s G-Shock “Rangeman.”  I love the Rangeman for its maintenance free accuracy in taking sights as well as its many other digital functions.

PS one shouldn’t say it can’t be done; the marriage of these two functions would be the penultimate complication excluding the truly ultimate complications involving real atomic powered movement???

The bearing my comment has on celestial navigation is that I know of no other digital watch under $200 that updates automatically within 24 hours (or whenever you wish to perform the update) with one of the three atomic time clock signals.

    Regards,

    seb
