Peter Fogg, you wrote:
"Hear hear, Bill. I think a lot of people would agree with you."
I am quite certain that EVERYONE would agree with him. It's what we all
hope should happen.
And:
" The Nav List seems to function on a few levels. On one it dispenses
information and can
be a great learning tool."
be a great learning tool."
Ahem. But ya know, there is no "it" here. If you're getting useful info
from this list, you're getting that info from real people, right? Nothing's
being 'dispensed'. People make an effort... or don't, myself included.
And:
" On another it is a stage for querulous old men ..."
Just out of curiosity, is anyone on the list (who's willing to speak up)
under thirty years of age? I usually guess that I'm on the younger end of the
curve for this list at the ripe old age of 41 (the actor Johnny Depp and I are
the exact same age --but I think he stayed out of the sun better than I
did).
So are we done with the whinging and moaning?? Anyone care to talk about
navigation? :-)
[note-- I am on the road and may be away from the Internet for a few
days]
