This is true, having the scales red and black works OK, but you always have to have in mind if the red is to be read above the black or v.v. Just as with the regular flat implementation. At least it does not slip unintentionally any more. All you other points are familiar to me, a real reproduction would be the solution. So we are back to the tubes... Wolfgang
