Tony,
You are describing the Tamaya NC-77. These can still be picked up on ebay. To correct the calculator almanac I use the Kolbe LTA almanac corrections.

Checked the links - no, neither of those things. All I can remember about it - it was quite old device and could be found for some time on eBay but disappeared because its' ephemerides became outdated (may be ~ten years ago) and no update was available from the vendor...
