Hi Don,
The "Box" is located on the fight deck, after end of the USS INTREPID museum. The semi permanent, hard shell venue is where the last of the decommissioned space shuttles is on display. Its a magnificent exhibit and one should not miss if anyone should decide to make NYC a vacation.
Brgs,
John R.

Don Seltzer, you wrote:
"It appears that this shot was taken from about where Alexander Hamilton took his last shot."Heh. Yes, my best guess was Hamilton Avenue in Weehawken. But I completely missed the historic location! Here's the view from the corner there, across the street from the $7 million mansion at 1 Hamilton Avenue.
Next up: how high is the Moon? The refracted shape is a big clue. And what is the date and time? There are probably multiple options. I would also be interested if anyone can track down the original photo and maybe the photographer.
