    Antoine, you wrote:

BTW, how are you rating this result ?"

Are you asking if that UT is correct? I don't know! :) I posted this as an interesting puzzle from the front page of a local newspaper, but I don't have any hard data on the image. Two of you posted UT values, and they agreed very nearly. Bill Ritchie got 21:57:26 and given the uncertainties of estimating the altitude from the photo and other issues, I would suggest that this is effectively an exact match for your value. Did anyone else try this? Does anyone have another estimate, maybe worked up differently?

PS: Origin story: I was standing in my backyard putting our chickens to roost just after sunset on October 19, and the Moon rose clear and bright with minimal horizon haze. It was impressive. I texted a few people "check out that beautiful moonrise!" One of the people I texted was Lynn Anderson. She's a local artist in the Mystic-Noank area. Some NavList folks may recognize her name, and a few of you have met her. She was married to Don Treworgy (Treworgy Planetarium, Mystic Seaport Museum) who passed away in 2009. She lives in Noank near Mystic, Connecticut still, and she sent me a link to that front page image the next day. Otherwise I would not have seen it, and we would not have had this fun analyzing it. :)
