Have you seen an option in there that I've missed that converts to degrees? It's not a big deal to multipy by 15° per hour, but if the app does this itself, so much the better. Note that this app's use of NTP is nothing extraordinary. It's just the standard time synchronization code used by nearly all time-sensitive software today. Incidentally, for any would-be app developers out there, creating an equivalent to this app that uses navigation terminology and displays LHA Aries (sidereal time in degrees) would be a nice first project. -Frank
No, and I was thinking exactly that. I even searched for an app that would display degrees, but to no avail. Perhaps I should just suggest it to the developer. I wrote in my review that being able to freeze UTC and sidereal time was perfect for celnav. Truthfully, it's almost perfect. But like you said, multiplying by 15 isn't really a bother. I think I will suggest it anyway.
