I was hoping to be able to tell them that "even the Navy, with all its on-board computers, still uses celestial." But alas, that seems not to be so.I will instead tell them that they may use a sextant for the same reason that I do...primarily because it delights us-Bob Goethe
I don't know about the Canadian Navy, but I hear from a friend that the U.S. Navy still requires it.
