I attach a document that I put together for myself a while ago describing how the Nautical Almanac treats multiple LOP's and its extension to the case where it is assumed that there is an unknown constant offset present in the observations. This case requires the inversion of a 3x3 matrix and the formulas would be quite a bit longer than those in the NA if written out explicitly,
